Photography

1.  Open all film and load your camera AFTER walking around the location.

2.  Use at least 400 speed film.

3.  Don't be afraid to try something new.  Infrared film, very slow speed film 64 speed with a time delay shutter, black and white.  Experiment but make good notes, makes notes of external light such as street lights so that you won't be fooled into thinking that they are orbs after developing the film.

4.  Make sure that your lens are clean, clean them often to prevent buildup of dust and moister.

5.  No smoking at the location, don't be fooled into thinking smoke is a mist on film.

6.  Tie up long hair and camera straps, they can look like a vortex on film.

7.  Watch for reflections for smooth surfaces.

8.  Let others know when you are about to shoot so you don't get double flash and anyone who is using night vision can take their eye away from the lens.

9.  Watch out for cold weather, your breath can look like ectoplasm.

10. Take LOTS of pictures, go with your feelings, if you think you saw something especially out of the corner of your eye take a shot.

11. For video you can use either stationary or walk around shots.  Stationary give the best results but walk around covers the most ground.

12. For EVP use an external mike to cut down on motor noise.  Again make notes of any background noises, dogs, cars, etc.
